A dad has been left disgusted after a ‘drunk man’ allegedly urinated outside his home and crashed into his car.

The resident, who did not wish to give his name, was relaxing at his home in Denton when he heard commotion outside his house on Acres Street.

The 34-year-old looked out of his window and watched as a man climbed into a van and reversed into the back of his family car, causing damage to the bumper.

Doorbell camera footage also revealed the stranger had even urinated right by the front room window just after 8pm on Saturday (October 19).

The dad says he has been left disgusted by the incident – adding his anxiety has significantly worsened since the disturbance.

“The person was sat in their car and they had been in their car for a while,” the resident told the Manchester Evening News.

“He started the van and at speed reversed into the car. I panicked, came out of the house and he had driven off.

“I don’t know if this is the type of society we live in these days where people don’t respect people’s property anymore. You’re urinating right outside our front door where our living room is. I live here with my fiancée and my two-year-old daughter.

“It is disgusting how he seems to think this conduct is appropriate. I love my fiancée and daughter and do not want them seeing men urinating and damaging our belongings.”

The resident, who has been living at the property since March 2023, says he has never experienced anything like this before and now believes the man was intoxicated.

A spokesman for GMP said no arrests have been made yet but they are investigating the incident.

Recalling the moment he saw the crash, the resident said: “I saw red straight away. A normal person who does something like that would stop, apologise and leave details.

“People need to act with good decorum and good character. You can’t act like he did. My anxiety is now four or five times worse. It’s just stuff you don’t expect to be living amongst.”
