CCTV image released after man 'glassed over the head' and seriously injured in pub attack
by James Holt · Manchester Evening NewsA CCTV image of a man police want to speak to has been released as part of investigations into an attack at a pub in Manchester city centre.
The victim, who suffered serious injuries, is thought to have been hit over the head with a glass during the attack at the Bridge Tavern on Bridge Street on August 26.
Police and paramedics were called to the incident, thought to have happened between 11.30pm and midnight. The victim, aged in his 40s, sustained a serious head injury after he was believed to have been approached by another man before he was attacked.

Detectives have released an image of a man they wish to speak to as part of their enquiries, and encourage anyone with information to get in touch with police.
Detective Constable Thomas McQuade of GMP’s City Centre Criminal Investigation Department, said "This incident occurred some time ago but we have been exhausting all available lines of enquiry since the assault to establish the full circumstances of this incident.
"We wish to speak to the man pictured as part of our enquiries and I urge anyone with information about his identity to get in touch with us as we believe it will significantly help our investigation."
