Group of teens pick up elderly man, 92, and throw him to ground in sick bus stop attack

Derbyshire police are appealing for help after a 92 year-old-man was assaulted by a group of teens at a bus station in Clay Cross on August 31 when the pensioner was sitting alone on a bench

A 92-year-old man has been left with chest injuries after he was attacked by a group of teenagers as he sat alone at a bus stop.

Derbyshire police are appealing for help after the pensioner was assaulted by a group of youths at a bus station in Clay Cross. The shocking incident happened between 11am and 12pm on August 31 when the man was sat alone on a bench.

He was then approached by a group of four youths who proceeded to grab him and lift him over the bench, before dropping him on the ground. The man, who is in his nineties, suffered injuries to his chest as a result of the attack.

Police have now launched an appeal for anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident or anyone who witnessed it to come forward with any information.
