Bradford crash: Motorcyclist fighting for life after horror crash with Vauxhall Corsa

His vehicle collided with a red Vauxhall Corsa in the Eccleshill area of Bradford on Monday afternoon. Police say another man, also on the motorbike, has suffered serious injuries too.
The motorcycle was reported to have failed to stop for police in the Eccleshill area of Bradford moments before the smash, said to have happened at around 1.20pm.
Road closures remain in place and an investigation has begun into how the collision occurred. The Independent Office for Police Conduct, which is the police watchdog, has also been notified.
A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police said: "At 1.19pm today (Monday), a motorcycle was reported to have failed to stop for police in the Eccleshill area of Bradford.
"The motorcycle, which had two males on board, was sighted on Harrogate Road travelling towards the city centre. Within a short time of a pursuit being authorised, a collision occurred which also involved a red Vauxhall Corsa.
"The two riders remain in hospital, with one of them having suffered what are believed to be life-threatening injuries. The second male suffered serious injuries, which are not thought to be life threatening.
"No other injuries were reported. Road closures remain in place and an investigation has begun into how the collision occurred. The Independent Office for Police Conduct has also been notified.
"Witnesses to the collision are asked to contact police on 101, or by using the livechat facility. The log reference is 726 of 28 October."
