A teenage girl is being investigated for the alleged murder of her two sisters after she sent her mother a chilling text message.

The girl, aged 13, from Russia, is said to have confessed to "killing her two half-sisters" and storing their corpses on the balcony. According to reports, the suspect's mother and stepfather were at a police station at the time the incident took place.

The pair were reportedly at the station, located in Togliatti city, after they got into a "fight" over his alleged infidelity. Whilst they were with police, the girl is said to have stabbed the two children, aged two and five, to death. They were allegedly found with "bite marks" on their bodies.

She was meant to have been babysitting her two siblings at the time. After the alleged killing, she is said to have taken a stroll through a local park. The dead sisters were found by their distraught 10-year-old sister when she came home.

The 13-year-old’s own father was mobilised to fight in the Russian war against Ukraine, say reports. The girl was asked by her mother what had happened to her two youngest children, and the teenager texted a reply: “Ah-ah-ah. It was me!” At 13, the girl is below the age of criminal responsibility in Russia and cannot be charged. “Two little sisters were killed while their parents were sorting out their relationship at the police station in Togliatti,” reported Shot Telegram channel.

"The children's mother had previously filed a complaint against her cohabitant for illegal entry into their home - he had [allegedly] broken into the apartment and beaten her. But later the woman forgave her beloved after a romantic inscription on the road below and let him back into the house.”

Shot reported: “After the father saw his daughters dead in the apartment, he ran out of the entrance in horror and could not come to his senses for a long time. According to eyewitnesses, Yuri was shaking all over and screaming loudly.” The mother, Irina, had five children aged two, five, ten, 13, and 18. The girl, her mother and stepfather are being quizzed by police. The teenager’s classmates said she was “non-confrontational, calm, very modest and quiet”, said a report.

But this isn't the only family murder reported in recent years in Russia. Last year, a court in Russia sentenced a grandmother who killed her disabled daughter and her son's three kids. The woman, named Lidia Shiryaeva, confessed to adding poison to her family members milk noodles. She was put behind bars for 19 years following their deaths. She said that she carried out the horrific crime because taking care of her four relatives had become too burdensome.

When she confessed to the crime, she said: "While everyone was distracted, I went outside and brought in a packet of poison. I knew that there was poison in my husband's car glove compartment. I added it to the soup, stirred it. Then I fed the grandchildren and my daughter with that soup."
