A dating site predator turned up unannounced at a woman's home, telling her he wanted to stay "for a couple of days", police have said.

Donathon Rosemin - who uses the name of Don Ragga - has been on the run for nearly 18 months after contacting the woman on a dating website. Police said the man travelled without an invitation to her home in Ammanford, Carmarthenshire, where he allegedly raped her before vanishing.

Police are trying to track him down for questioning over the suspected rape. Charity Crimestoppers has put up a reward of up to £2,500 for information leading to his arrest.

A spokesperson said: "On 10/05/2023, Donathon Rosamin targeted a vulnerable female on a dating website. He told the victim he would be staying for a couple of days, during this time he has raped her.

"Since that time Donathon has avoided the police and his current whereabouts are unknown. Dyfed Powys police urgently need to trace Donathon, his current whereabouts are unknown." Rosemin, who has links with south Wales and London, is wanted by detectives after the attack on the woman described as being over the age of 16.

Crimestoppers advised people not to approach Rosemin but to contact the charity anonymously with any knowledge of his whereabouts. Ms Fry said: "We encourage anybody with information about Rosemin's whereabouts to come forward and speak to our charity 100% anonymously. This means no involvement with the police, no court appearances, and no witness statements.

"Our charity, which is independent of the police, gives people the option to remain completely anonymous when telling us what they know. We have kept this promise since we started back in the late 1980s. Over half a million people contact our charity every year to pass on their crime information.

"It is important to also remember that if you are assisting an offender you are committing a serious criminal offence. There are people out there who must know Rosemin's location. Please speak up. Crimestoppers is open 24/7, 365 days a year via our website and on the phone. Remember that you can share with us where he is hiding and no-one will ever know."
