Euston Station chaos with travellers evacuated as police investigate suspect package

Met Police have confirmed a suspect package has been found at Euston Station. The force has put cordons in place as a 'precaution' whilst they investigate the incident

Police are investigating a suspect package at a popular UK station.

Met Police confirmed concerns have been raised over an item found at Euston Station.

One witness said: "Something is going on at Euston Station; it seems like the whole area is cordoned off."

A Met Police spokesperson explained that a cordon has been put in place as a "precaution".

The force said: "We’re aware of reports online about an incident in the vicinity of Euston Station.

"Police cordons are in place as a precaution while officers investigate a suspect package. We will provide further updates on this thread in due course."
