With less than 36 hours before voting begins, Fianna Fáil holds the most slender of leads over Fine Gael and Sinn Féin, the latest Business Post RED C opinion poll suggests.

The online survey of 1,004 voters taken over six days up to yesterday, indicates that Fianna Fáil is unchanged at 21% on a previous poll conducted just over two weeks ago.

Fine Gael drops two points to stand at 20%, while Sinn Féin is up two points to also stand at 20%.

Support for Independents is put at 14%, down one.

The Social Democrats are unchanged on 6% support, while Labour is up one point to 4%.

Aontú is also on 4% support, down one.

The Greens are unchanged at 4%. Independent Ireland is up one point to 4%.

People Before Profit-Solidarity is unchanged at 2% and other parties are listed as 1%.

The margin of error in this poll is plus or minus 3%.
