Podcast: Debate day prepping and FF/FG shade

In Friday’s Behind the Ballot podcast, David and Katie take a look back on a week that starred buffalo, buses, jivers, and falling signs.

There was also some shade thrown between Fine Gael’s Helen McEntee and Fianna Fail’s Jim O’Callaghan after he accused her of taking his ideas.

And with Katie hosting her first ten-way TV debate on Monday night, the pod invited in Head of Training at the Communications Clinic Lorcan Nyhan to get an insight into how politicians prepare for such battles.

Lorcan answered questions on what kind of advice is given to politicians, whether their dress sense or body language can have any impact, and how nerveless politicians make him nervous.
