Man charged with murder after woman, 69, dies in hospital after Rhyl injuries

A 33 year old man has been charged with murder after a woman, 69, died in hospital from severe injuries. The woman was found by police at a house in at Cefndy Road, Rhyl on Thursday October 24 and passed away on Friday night October 25.

A man was arrested on suspicion of murder. This morning detectives charged a man with murder.

Dean Mark Albert Mears, of 33, of Bodelwyddan Avenue, Kinmel Bay, is due to appear in court in Llandudno tomorrow Monday October 28.

North Wales Police said in a statement: "Our thoughts are with the victim's family at this sad time who are being supported by specialist police teams. His Majesty's Coroner has also been informed.", reports North Wales Live.
