Major police presence in Clase, Swansea, as man arrested
by Jason Evans · Wales OnlinePolice investigating a spate of car crime in a Swansea community have made an arrest. A large police presence was seen in Honeysuckle Drive in Clase as part of an operation to tackle "multiple recent cases of vehicle crime" in the Morriston area.
Police say a 21-year-old man had been arrested as part of their investigation which is ongoing. Officers are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
A spokesman for South Wales Police confirmed an arrest had been made. He said: "Officers attended Honeysuckle Drive, Clase, Swansea shortly after 3pm on Thursday, November 28, in connection with multiple recent cases of vehicle crime in the area. A 21-year-old man from Morriston has been arrested and is currently in police custody."
Anyone with information that can help police is asked to call 101.
