Mother and young child knocked over by van

Police are investigating after a mother and young child were hit by a van near Swansea's Guildhall. Emergency services were called at around 8.50am on Tuesday, October 1.

A statement from South Wales Police said that officers were called to reports of a collision between two pedestrians, a mother and young child, and a Peugeot van driven by a 57-year-old local man. A spokesman added: "Paramedics attended, the child was un-injured and the adult suffered minor injuries."
