Police have warned there will be an increased presence in Milford Haven as they investigate a robbery

A taxi driver needed hospital treatment after allegedly being threatened with a knife and assaulted with a needle in Milford Haven. Police are investigating a robbery that was reported just after 7.30pm on Friday, October 18.

Dyfed Powys Police said a taxi driver reported being threatened with a knife and assaulted with a needle in town and he went to hospital for medical treatment

A 23-year-old man and 35-year-old woman have been arrested on suspicion of robbery, and are currently in police custody.

A spokeswoman for the force said: "People living in the area might see an increased police presence while officers investigate the incident."
