Boy, 11, has 'life-threatening injuries' after he's hit by car
by David Powell, Ellie Gosley · Wales OnlineAn 11-year-old boy has been left with "life-threatening injuries" after being struck by a car on Wrexham Road in Chester. The incident occurred on Tuesday evening, November 12, and involved a grey Nissan Qashqai.
The young pedestrian suffered serious injuries in the crash, which happened at 5.12pm, and was treated at the scene before being rushed to Alder Hey hospital. The driver of the Nissan, a 28-year-old woman from Wrexham, was not injured.

Cheshire Police is calling for witnesses or anyone with information or CCTV footage to come forward. Inspector Anton Sullivan, from the Constabulary's Roads and Crime Unit, said: "I understand that this is a considerably distressing incident and our thoughts remain with the victim's family.
"As part of our enquiries to establish the circumstances that led up to the collision, we are asking for anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or has any information about it, to please contact us. The same goes for anyone who may have captured the incident on dashcam or on CCTV."
