Body found at Welsh beach confirmed to be missing man
by Lucy John · Wales OnlineA body has been found amid a search for a missing 45-year-old man. Royston Williams had been missing since Tuesday, November 19.
He was last seen alive that evening on Alexandra Terrace in the Brynmill area of Swansea. In a previous appeal for information his family issued an emotional plea through South Wales Police, which said: "We are all worried about you. Please come home."
Sadly officers confirmed on Wednesday evening that a body has been found and formally identified as Mr Williams. For the latest Swansea news, sign up to our newsletter here

A spokesman for the force said: "Officers searching for missing 45-year-old Royston Williams, from Townhill, discovered a body in Caswell, Swansea last week.
"Formal identification has now taken place, confirming the body to be Royston. The circumstances are not considered to be suspicious. Royston’s family have been informed. South Wales Police would like to thank those who shared our appeal and assisted with the search for Royston."
