'Little worm' among 11 people wanted by Merseyside Police

Merseyside Police has appealed for information from the public to help officers identify and bring to justice a number of people who are currently wanted. The force always has a number of ongoing wanted appeals for people who officers are unable to find.

The people who are subject of the appeals include convicted criminals who have failed to attend court to be sentenced, people who have breached licence conditions and are wanted on recall to prison and those who have failed to answer bail.

One of the people that Merseyside Police are currently looking to track down is Liar Carr, from Waterloo. Police have said the 21-year-old, who is wanted after failing to appear in court in connection with drug supply, is also known as "worm" and "little worm".

Other people on the list include Zac Dillon, who police believe might have information about a stabbing in Liverpool city centre, and Walton man Joseph Jones, who is wanted by detectives in connection with domestic offences.

  1. Zak Shirreh

    Zak Shirreh, 27 years and of Seaforth, has breached his license conditions following his release after serving a sentence for supplying drugs.
    He is described as 5ft 9in tall, slim build, black hair and brown eyes. Shirreh has links with Sefton and across Merseyside.

  2. Zac Dillon

    Detectives want to speak to Zac Dillon, 31, as he may have information in connection with an assault in Liverpool city centre in July.
    At around 10pm on Tuesday, July 0, a man was assaulted in Great Charlotte Street, sustaining a stab wound to the back. The victim is now recovering from his injuries. Dillon is described as white, 5ft 2in tall, of slim build, with dark brown hair and blue eyes. Extensive enquiries have been ongoing to locate him.

  3. Michael Egan

    Michael John Egan, 50 years, from Wavertree, has failed to appear at Liverpool Crown Court for a driving offence.
    He is described as 5ft 5in tall, fair hair, a beard, blue eyes and usually wears glasses. He is believed to have links with Waterloo area of Sefton.

  4. Liam Carr

    Liam Carr is wanted after failing to appear at Liverpool Crown Court in connection with drug supply. Carr, also known as 'Worm' and 'Little Worm', is 21 and from Waterloo, and also has links to Bootle and North Liverpool.

  5. Kevin William Lawton

    Kevin William Lawton, 39 and of Wavertree, is wanted on the prison recall after breaching his licence conditions.
    He is described as 5ft 9in tall, large build, receding brown hair and usually has a beard. He has a mole on his lower right cheek, and several tattoos on his arms, hands and fingers. Lawton has links to Liverpool City Centre, Kensington and Dovecot areas.

    John Kearney, aged 35, from the Eastham area of Wirral, is wanted on recall to prison after serving a sentence for burglary.
    He has links to Birkenhead and the Beechwood estate. He is described as being around 5ft 7in tall, has a large build, curly hair and blue eyes.

  2. Joseph Jones

    Joseph Jones is wanted by detectives in connection with domestic offences.

    Joseph Collings, 30 and of Everton has breached his licence conditions following his release after serving a sentence. He also uses the name James or Josh.
    Collings is described as 6ft tall, medium build, brown eyes and shoulder-length dark brown hair. He has a tattoo on his left arm of two hands praying. He has links with Liverpool city centre and Fazakerley.

    Jack Angus Kenneth Ross, 33 years and of Belle Vale, has breached his licence conditions following his release after serving a sentence for drug supply.
    He is described as 5ft 10in tall, of medium build, with dark brown hair, brown eyes and a beard. Ross has links to Allerton, Woolton, Halewood and Netherley, and Gwynedd in North Wales.

    Convicted burglar Daniel Kelly is wanted on a prison recall after breaching the strict conditions of his licence. Kelly, 33, is white, 5ft 11 tall, of heavy build, with short dark brown hair and blue eyes. He has a small scar above his left eyebrow and several tattoos, including a panther on each leg, and rosary beads on his neck.

    Police are continuing to appeal for help in finding a man from Southport who is wanted on a warrant issued by Liverpool Crown Court relating to drug offences.

    John Paul Rimington, 21, is wanted after a warrant was issued for possessing Class A controlled drugs with the intent to supply. He is 6ft 2in tall, of medium build, short brown hair and green eyes.
