Man charged over shooting of girl, 8, and father

A man has been charged with two counts of attempted murder after an eight-year-old girl and her father were seriously injured in a shooting in west London.
Jazz Reid, 32, of Kensington in west London, was also charged with possession of a firearm and ammunition. He is due to appear at the Old Bailey on 20 December, a court official said.
Both victims were taken to hospital with "serious gunshot injuries" following the shooting into a car on Southern Row in Ladbroke Grove at about 17:30 GMT on Sunday.
The girl's two-year-old sibling and mother, 32, were also in the car but were unharmed, the Metropolitan Police said.
Scotland Yard has said the 34-year-old man has potentially life-changing injuries while his daughter's condition is "not life-changing" following surgery on Monday. They both remain in hospital.
Officers previously thanked the public for coming to the aid of the pair but are still urging witnesses to come forward.
On Monday, a 22-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder has been bailed to a date in early February pending further inquiries.
