Kildare planners allow shed to be demolished for eight new homes

Planning permission granted in Rathangan

Eight new homes have been given the green light in Rathangan.

Kildare County Council granted planning permission for the project on the site of Conlan's garage on the Kildare Road. 

Plans have been approved for the demolition of an existing outhouse building on the site.

The designs include the construction of eight 3-bedroom 2-storey, semi-detached houses.

The total floor area of the properties is almost 900 square metres. 

The estimated construction value of the project is €1.9m, according to Construction Information Services database.
