Eight homes are have been given the green light in Leixlip.

Planning permission has been granted for the development at Rye Water Apartments on Distillery Lane.

Approval have been given to the demolition of the existing stables/storage building on the site.

A 3-storey building will be constructed containing 3 one-bed apartment units and one studio unit at ground floor.

Also in the designs are and four two-bed duplex apartment units at first and second floor.

The development will also include balconies and terraces associated with the individual residential units, secure bicycle parking, 14 car parking spaces and two accessible car parking spaces.

The overall site area is approximately 866 square metres.
