'Man anally raped 11 year old boy'

by Leader Reporter · Leinster LeaderA man allegedly anally raped an 11 year old boy, it was alleged at Naas District Court.
The man is facing allegations of sexual assault on dates unknown between September 1, 2017 and October 31, 2017.
Sgt Mary Meade applied to have the man sent forward for trial before the Central Criminal Court.
The court was told that the alleged injured party was aged 11 and 15 when the sexual assault took place and is now aged 18.
The court was also told that there is a family connection between the defendant and the alleged injured party.
Judge Desmond Zaidan imposed restrictions on the reporting of the case.
He also granted free legal aid to cover legal representation in the court which will hear the case.
