The leaders of Saskatchewan’s two main political parties are set to face off in a broadcast debate next week.

The Saskatchewan Party’s Scott Moe and Saskatchewan NDP’s Carla Beck will take part in the leaders debate on Oct. 16, the media partnership behind the event announced on Monday.

The debate, which will run from 6:05 p.m. to 7 p.m., will be aired on CBC TV and radio, CTV and Global TV, as well as their websites. The debate will also be broadcasted on the various platforms of Postmedia News (including the Saskatoon StarPhoenix and Regina Leader-Post), CPAC and Rawlco radio stations.
