Saskatoon police arrested four people after an attempted traffic stop turned into a chase through the city’s west side and out of town.

Around 12:05 a.m. on Thursday at the intersection of 22nd Street West and Avenue I South, officers tried to stop a vehicle with a licence plate that didn’t match, police said in a news release on Friday. It sped away.

Officers successfully set out a tire deflation device at 22nd Street and Dalmeny Road, but the vehicle didn’t stop, continuing west on Highway 14.
