CCTV masked group appeal after victim beaten in Lozells bike robbery

Police are relying on public intelligence

Police have issued a CCTV image of a masked group officers would like to identify after a victim was beaten in a bike robbery. The victim was attacked in Melbourne Avenue, Lozells, at around 6pm on Wednesday, August 7.

Officers carried out enquiries following the robbery but weren't able to identify those involved. West Midlands Police today issued a CCTV image of a group they would like to speak to following the attack.

A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: "Can you help us identify these individuals? We would like to speak with them following an assault and robbery in Melbourne Avenue in Lozells, Birmingham.

"The incident took place at around 6pm on August 7, where the victim was assaulted and had their bike stolen. Since then, we have carried out multiple CCTV enquiries but have been unable to identify those involved.
