A suspect who tried to outrun the police was found hiding in a back garden by a drone. It followed a police chase in Birmingham.

Police said a driver was pursued by officers before a suspect fled the vehicle. They then climbed over fences into a residential garden.

A drone using heat seeking equipment hovered overhead before a dog handler on the ground was directed over to a suspect. They were then arrested with police inquiries ongoing.
