Thousands of households issued £75 vouchers to help with the cost of living

by · Birmingham Live

Households are being issued £75 vouchers to help with the cost-of-living crisis. The vouchers are being distributed in parts of the Midlands as residents and families continue to struggle with everyday bills.

They are being made available to residents in the county of Worcestershire. The vouchers have been funded through the UK Government's Household Support Fund (HSF), which has been extended until March.

The HSF is a pot of cash drawn up so local authorities can support residents struggling with bills. Money has been sent to councils across the country.

The £75 vouchers are being advertised through the Worcestershire Advice Network, which is a partnership of local agencies. Those eligible are pensioners, people with disabilities or a long term health condition and carers of any age.

The local authority has asked people to contact their Citizens Advice office or DIAL South Worcestershire to apply for the vouchers. For more information on the vouchers, visit worcestershireadvicenetwork.org.uk.
