Birmingham schoolboy stabbing update as teens quizzed over 1am Northfield attack

The emergency services found the seriously-injured 15-year-old outside Sainsbury's, at the junction of Frankley Beeches Road and Bristol Road South, at around 12.50am on Monday, November 18.
He was given advanced trauma care at the scene before he was taken to hospital. Two teenagers were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and were still in custody this morning, Tuesday, November 19, awaiting questioning, police confirmed.
Sainsbury's was closed on Monday, together with the city-bound section of the A38 Bristol Road South, while a forensic investigation took place. Both sites later reopened.
West Midlands Police said: "The suspects remain under arrest, and the victim is in a critical but stable condition. Our enquiries continue and we'd ask anyone with information to get in touch."
