Shocking video shows moment man stabbed after daylight fight on Birmingham street
by birminghammail.co.uk · Birmingham LiveShocking CCTV has emerged of the moment a man was stabbed in broad daylight as a street fight erupted in Birmingham. The footage started as the victim was engaged in a row which turned into a fist fight at the junction of Percy Road and Clarence Road in Sparkhill at around 1pm yesterday, Thursday, November 7.
Cars drove past and members of the public walked on as another male hurried over and hit the first man. The brawl moved to the pavement before a third man sprinted across and quickly pulled a large knife from his trouser waistband.
The fight continued out of view of the camera and the victim was knocked to the ground as he was wounded. Birmingham Live has taken the decision not to continue with the clip due to its graphic nature.

The victim was taken to hospital where his injuries were not said to be threatening. A spokesman from West Midlands Police said: "We're investigating after a man was stabbed in Percy Road, Springfield, at just after 1pm on November 7.
"A man in his 20s was taken to hospital with injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening. We're reviewing CCTV and carrying out other enquiries to establish who was involved."
The incident has sparked condemnation after it was posted on social media. Javed Iqbal said: "Shocking beyond belief." Emma Holsey said: "This is so awful why don’t people value life anymore. Just feral."
