Teens charged over Birmingham city centre robberies

Two teenagers have been charged in connection with a 'spate of robberies' in Birmingham city centre. Police arrested an 18-year-old man and a 19-year-old man on Wednesday, November 13. West Midlands Police said Musa Khadim, 19, and Silas Agwo, 18, were later charged with multiple robbery offences.

Khadim was also charged with possession of a bladed article, and possession of Class B drugs. Both men were remanded in custody to appear at Birmingham Magistrates' Court, yesterday, Friday, November 15.

A spokesperson for the force said: "Two men have been charged in connection with a spate of robberies in Birmingham city centre. We arrested an 18-year-old man, and a 19-year-old man on Wednesday, November 13.

"Musa Khadim, 19, and Silas Agwo, 18, have both been charged with multiple robbery offences. Musa Khadim was also charged with possession of a bladed article, and possession of Class B drugs.

"Both were remanded in custody to appear at Birmingham Magistrates' Court, yesterday."
