Katie Price's 'six-word holiday confession after being spotted in wheelchair'

The former glamour model has reportedly injured herself on holiday with boyfriend JJ Slater

Katie Price has reportedly returned from holiday in agony - and it isn't the first time she's come back to the UK injured. The mum-of-five recently jetted off to Cyprus with boyfriend former Channel 4 Married at First Sight JJ Slater.

But their break appears to have taken a turn for the worse after the former Page 3 model reportedly slipped on a rock, hurting her ankle. The 46-year-old was spotted looking glum as JJ pushed her in a wheelchair.

Donning a lime green bikini, the former glamour model's ankle appeared to be wrapped in a bandage. Unfortunately, she has had a run of bad luck when it comes to holiday accidents.

25-foot wall plummet

In Turkey, Katie broke bones in both feet after tumbling from a 25-foot wall. She required several surgeries, including an eight-hour operation, Mirror reports.

Her recovery seemed to be slow and she remained in pain for months. She also had difficulties walking following the ordeal, which she said had 'destroyed' her feet.

Speaking with The Sun in February 2021, Katie gave a tough six-word verdict on her ordeal, admitting: "I will never be the same". She added: "I've got a limp when I walk now as one leg is longer than the other because of all the metal in the foot — I waddle like a duck.

"It does make me feel a bit paranoid. I'm registered disabled and have got letters from the doctors to certify me for a blue badge, which I've sent off for." According to Katie, doctors told her that they had amputated legs with similar injuries.

She also took to her YouTube channel to explain how exactly her 'silly little accident' had come about. Katie revealed: "I was running and jumped over a wall, as it was a little shortcut, and didn't really judge the height.

"I just sort of fell funny on my ankles and I fractured the hairline on my heels and stuff. The hospital here wanted to operate and wanted to put pins in and stuff.

"Because I'm away, I'd rather wait until I get home. It's the most painful thing ever. Like when I was trying to put the cast on, I was screaming in pain. They said I won't be able to walk for three to six months."

Food poisoning hell

In 2022, Katie reportedly became 'very sick' with suspected food poisoning during a trip to Thailand with her then-boyfriend Carl Woods. Confirming she was 'on the mend', a source told the Mirror at the time: "Katie suddenly got very sick. She has been throwing up and feeling poorly.

"Katie could possibly have got food poisoning, although she's trying to not let it affect her holiday and time with Carl." It appeared she made a quick recovery and was later spotted strolling along a Thai beach after treating herself to a large tattoo of a horse, inked across her stomach.

Boob job horror

In 2019, Katie reportedly ended up ripping stitches in her latest boob job during a night out in Turkey with her toyboy lover Charles Drury. A source told The Sun: "Katie woke up in so much pain after her big night out and thinks she's pulled one or two stitches out of the scar from her recent boob reduction surgery.

"She doesn't know if she did it in the club or in bed with Charles at night because she was so drunk."

Emergency caesarean nightmare

In 2013, pregnant Katie was in France with her then-husband Kieran Hayler when her waters broke prematurely, with French doctors forced to perform an emergency caesarean. Recalling the ordeal, she told The Sun: "The next thing I know, a nurse is in my room saying "get ready now. You have five minutes to shower. You are having a C-section soon."

"I started panicking. I have a terrible fear of needles and I was dreading the epidural. I got in the shower in shock. I kept thinking "this will be my last shower before I have my fourth child"."

She continued: "Bringing life into the world is supposed to be magical. But what I went through was a nightmare. [...] The only thing that got me through the nightmare was the thought of cradling my little boy."

Jett Riviera was born weighing 5lbs 2oz and is now 10 years old.
