Digbeth shooting update as police 'speak to woman' and make fresh appeal

The shocking incident happened on Moseley Street, in Digbeth, at around 12.20am, on Wednesday, November 27. Thankfully the man's injuries are not life-threatening.
West Midlands Police said they have since spoken to a woman who officers had wanted to trace. They are continuing to appeal for anyone who can help with their investigation.

In a statement, police said: "We are continuing to appeal for information after a man was seriously injured following a shooting in Digbeth. At around 12.50am on Wednesday morning (27 Nov) a man in his 30s was taken to hospital with a gunshot wound to his stomach.
"Thankfully his injuries were not life-threatening. Following enquiries, we now know the shooting happened on Moseley Street, Digbeth at around 12.20am.
"We issued an appeal earlier this week, and have since spoken to a woman who we wanted to trace. We remain keen to hear from anyone else who may have witnessed the incident, or has any information to help our investigation.
