Police release image of distinctive car in search over town burglary
by Oscar Fisher · Derbyshire LiveOfficers investigating a burglary in a Derbyshire town have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to. Derbyshire police are investigating the incident, which took place between 9.30pm and 9.45pm on Sunday, September 8, at a business in Bridge Way, Chesterfield, and believe the man pictured may have useful information.
The image shows a white man with grey hair wearing a blue T-shirt, black shoes and grey trousers. The force also released an image of a blue Ford car which was seen in the area on September 8.
A spokesperson for Staveley Police's Safer Neighbourhood Team said: "Officers are appealing for the public’s help to identify a man in connection with a burglary in Chesterfield. We are keen to speak to the man pictured in connection with this incident as he may have information which could help with our investigation.
"Officers are also keen to hear from anyone who saw the car pictured in the area at the time of the offence. If you recognise the man, or have any information on the incident, contact us quoting the reference 24*537452."
