28/09/1944 - 20/10/2024 Allan passed away peacefully at Douglas Court care home, aged 80 with his family by his side. Despite having Alzheimer's, he was still cheeky and a true gentleman till the end. Loving husband to Linda, Dad to Clare and Paul, father-in-law to Suzanne, Grandpa to Jack and Eva. He lived in Mickleover most of his life, and worked as a teacher at the Pingle School, Swadlincote.
He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all that met him. Funeral service to be held at Markeaton Crematorium, Derby on Thursday 14th November at 11am in the main chapel. Of Derby. Passed away peacefully with family by his side at the Macmillan Unit, Royal Derby Hospital on 11th October, aged 79 years. Brian sadly passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday 12th October 2024 aged 93. Much loved Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather and Brother, who will be greatly missed but never forgotten. After a long stay in the Royal Derby Hospital, Michael died peacefully on the 24th October 2024 with family members at his bedside. His funeral will take place on Wednesday 20th November at Markeaton Crematorium, Round Chapel at 3.00pm. No flowers or donations by his request.
Anna of Derby passed away peacefully at Southmead Hospital, Bristol on the 18th of October 2024 aged 93 years. Adored by daughter Maria, son-in-law Lukas and grandchildren Rebecca and Rube. She will be sadly missed. We are sad to relate the passing away of our dear brother, Eric Ludlam. He was a thoughtful and caring elder brother to Stephen, Pauline and Gillian. Sadly missed by nephews Kevin and Adam and special friend, Jacky. Eric was also much loved by niece, Michelle, as well as many other family members and friends. Eric had spent most of his working life as an engineer at Rolls-Royce in Derby. He enjoyed playing squash, hiking with friends, loved cars and aeroplanes, and reading about local history. Eric had requested that his passing away be quietly acknowledged and therefore there will be no funeral or flowers.
