West Midlands Police said a man has been arrested after a two-year-old boy was killed in a collision in Smethwick on Saturday evening - he is currently being questioned

West Midlands Police said officers had acted on information to detain the suspect this afternoon following the toddler's death on Saturday night.

A 29-year-old woman and a man, 30 , remain in a serious condition in hospital. Police had previously confirmed the Porsche had been stolen about a month previous, and the driver of the car had fled the scene.
