Factory in-charge, manager and Chinese expert  from the Honda Myanmar Plywood Factory in Kyaikrae village, Mudon Township, were released on November 9 after being abducted by the NMSP (AD), a faction that broke away from the New Mon State Party. The armed group reportedly entered the factory compound on November 6, firing shots and demanding to speak with the manager, and later manager U Tin Tun Aung, factory in-charge U  Bobo and Chinese expert were  taken.
