The Information Team of the State Administration Council (SAC) denied the presence of Myanmar naval vessels near the border on November 27, when a Bangladeshi fisherman was reportedly injured by Myanmar Naval’s fire. According to the SAC, the only Myanmar Navy warship in the area had returned from Sittwe at 1:45 pm on November 27 and was anchored approximately 5 miles southwest of Myint Lut village, at coordinates 20°34.1’N and 92°26.7’E.
