UNOCHA appeals for $1.1 billion to aid 5.5 million vulnerable people in Myanmar amid 2025 crisis
UNOCHA Myanmar announced that it has appealed for $1.1 billion to assist 5.5 million people struggling to survive amid crises in Myanmar in 2025. According to UNOCHA Myanmar, there will be 19.9 million people in need of assistance in Myanmar in 2025. As part of the Humanitarian Needs and Response Plan (HNRP), the organization proposed the $1.1 billion funding to provide life-saving humanitarian aid to 5.5 million of the most vulnerable people facing severe challenges.
