A knifeman accused of stabbing a pensioner to death and sending another two to hospital during a Remembrance Sunday rampage has had his trial date set for next year.

Hilkiah McLeggan, 77, died at the scene from a stab wound to his back. In the market, a stall has been set up which locals are covering with flowers in his memory.
