An oil tanker caught fire early this early morning near the descent of Kalawe Bridge in Kalawe Village, Thanlyin Township, Yangon Region, according to the Myanmar Fire Services Department. The incident occurred on No. 2 Main Road, prompting an emergency response from fire engines dispatched from the Yangon South District, Yangon East District, and Thanlyin Township Fire Stations. The fire was successfully brought under control by 4:15 a.m. and fully extinguished by 4:18 a.m., as confirmed by the Myanmar Fire Services Department.
