Low-income households will get up to £30,000 free cash for energy-saving home improvements, Labour Party Chancellor Rachel Reeves confirmed in the Budget documents.

North Lincolnshire Council revealed on Tuesday that 3,000 pensioners who would miss out on the winter fuel payment this year will now be given the £200 helping hand.
