This is the horrifying moment a bull gored a man on the floor after butting him off a seesaw that he was bouncing on as part of a daredevil rodeo game.

The victim was knocked off the playground-style piece of equipment and attacked on the ground at a rodeo in Cuernavaca, Mexico on November 21.

After being released into the ring that featured people bouncing up and down on the seesaw, the bull can be seen rushing towards one man as he descends towards the ground.

The power of the animal's horns saw the individual plunge to the floor, as he is spun in mid-air before being set upon by the irate animal.

Lying helplessly on the ground, he was unable to defend himself from its rampaging advances and subsequent assault on him.

While onlookers attempted to assist the man by distracting the bull, he allegedly sustained serious injuries to his neck.

Eventually, crowd members were able to occupy the bull for long enough to allow the victim to be dragged to safety.

Following the ghastly incident, he was rushed to a nearby hospital for urgent treatment.

In another clip from the same rodeo, a bull is seen knocking a young woman off the seesaw before trying to gore her against the boundary fence.

Fortunately, cowboys were able to lasso the animal and pull it away and enable the woman to scramble to safety.

The emergency services arrived promptly on the scene to deal with the injured man who remains under observation in hospital.

It is unclear if the woman who was able to escape from the rodeo sustained any injuries during the event.

Local authorities have yet to release a statement on the matter while local residents have expressed a desire for tighter security measures for future editions of the event.

Another incident involving a bull on the same day saw a teenage champion bull rider left fighting for his life after being hit in the chest during a rodeo event in Florida.

Walker 'Hollywood' Smith, 17, was named the Junior Bull Riding Champion of the Year in 2022 and is a well-known contender in the World Championship Bull Riding competition.

Walker was rushed to the Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne on a helicopter and has remained in a critical condition.

After his father, Daniel Smith, said that doctors initially told the family that Walker likely would never move his legs again, nurses were shocked to find him moving his legs on Saturday morning.

They see it as a promising sign that Walker will eventually recover from his injuries.
