Jake Paul paid staggering earnings for fight as Mike Tyson gets half as much

They entered the ring at Arlington's AT&T Stadium in Texas on 15 November, with an estimated 120 million people streaming the face-off.
Jake secured a victory against Iron Mike in a unanimous decision - however, both of the fighters were lined up to get paid staggering figures for taking part.

It was reported that Jake is expected to receive $40million for his involvement, according to an estimate from DraftKings Network. While he is an incredibly popular social media influencer, the huge amount is likely due to him being the co-founder of Most Valuable Promotions (MVP), the company promoting the event in partnership with Netflix.
He is estimated to be worth around $80 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth.
The businessman is regularly ranked as one of the highest-paid social media stars globally, earning between $20million and $50million each year due to boxing, YouTube, merchandise and various endorsements.
His previous fights have also saw him take home sizable sums of money, with it reported that he made $40million from three boxing matches in 2021.
Jake has an impressive estate, with one of his first-ever expensive purchases being a blue Lamborghini Huracan. These cars range in price from €191,000 to €311,000.
He has also previously bought a Ferrari SF90 Spider (€500k), 1958 Ford Fairlane (€83k), Tesla Model X (€119k), Rolls-Royce Phantom (€487K), Toyota Tacoma (€78k), Ford Focus RS (€47k) and a Dodge RAM (€90k).
The fight against Jake was also reported to be lucrative for Mike, who was reportedly lined up to be paid $20 million for the event.
He has an estimated net worth of $10 million according to Celebrity Net Worth. He was reported to have amassed $400 million throughout his fighting career, however, after experiencing financial difficulties, he declared bankruptcy in 2013.
Mike has worked solidly over the years. He also ventured into television shows, films, and video games starring in The Hangover and Rocky Balboa.
He also released two memoirs, Undisputed Truth in 2013 and Iron Ambition: My Life with Cus D’Amato in 2017.
