Two Irish EuroMillions players scoop €1m each in raffle, with one Wexford player winning €500K

Two lucky Irish EuroMillions players have scooped up a life changing €1 million each in the EuroMillions Raffle Draw, while one player also scooped the top EuroMillions Plus prize.

While there was no winner of the EuroMillions jackpot, worth €194,669,133, in total more than 92,000 players in Ireland won prizes in the EuroMillions and Plus games, including the two winners of the raffle. You can find the winning raffle codes here.

The winning numbers for the draw were: 10, 11, 12, 29, 31 and the Lucky Stars 8 and 11. 10 Irish players also managed to snap up the €5,000 winning Ireland only raffle prize. You can find the winning numbers here.

There was one winner of the Plus top prize, worth €500,000, The winning ticket was sold in Wexford. The winning numbers were: 7, 27, 35, 38 and 45.

Meanwhile, the shop that sold this week's life-changing €7million Lotto Jackpot-winning ticket has been revealed.

Eurospar An Cheathrú Rua, located in the Gaeltacht village of Carraroe in Co Galway, was the lucky location for one Lotto player, who finds themselves €7,028,440 richer after Wednesday's draw.

The lucky winner in Galway has become the 10th Lotto Jackpot winner of the year and the county's second biggest winner so far in 2024.

Shop owner Aodán Breathneach was delighted to receive the phone call from the National Lottery, informing him of the win.

"Our shop has been a cornerstone in An Cheathrú Rua for over 50 years, across three generations," he said. "We've had some Lotto and EuroMillions wins before, but never anything this big.

"We have many regular local customers, so it's exciting to think that one of them might have had a life-changing win, although it could be anyone!

"We're so happy for the winner and hope they're already enjoying their amazing news. With a team of nearly 50 people, we're all enjoying the buzz in the shop - wins like this are rare, so we're making the most of the celebrations!"
