Not even opposing defenders could humble Ibrahimovic like this

International soccer legend Zlatan Ibrahimovic isn't one to shy away from a challenge, but he might have finally met his match. Oddly enough, the thing that brought Ibrahimovic to his knees was chicken wings.

Ibrahimovic joined the popular YouTube interview show "Hot Ones" to test his mettle against some of the hottest wings on the internet. As you might expect, Ibrahimovic was quite confident in his ability to navigate the gauntlet, but what else would you expect from a player with more than 500 goals and 13 league titles to his name?

"I'm confident, don't worry," Ibrahimovic told host Sean Evans. "How it goes? Let's see. Let's enjoy the show."

Ibrahimovic made his way through the more tame sauces without much trouble, but he really struggled down the stretch. By the time he got to the final sauce, Ibrahimovic was in a world of hurt.

The former Inter Milan and Paris Saint-Germain star admitted that "Hot Ones" had humbled him in a way that no defender ever had.

"I'm OK," Ibrahimovic said. "No, I'm not OK. Bro, you killed me. Not even defenders had the chance to do this."

Despite the pain, Ibrahimovic was able to answer the question, "What does it mean to play Zlatan style?"

"To play Zlatan style, just be Zlatan," Ibrahimovic said. "That's the key."

Ibrahimovic, known as one of the best strikers of his era, retired from soccer in 2023. Now, Ibrahimovic serves as an advisor to the ownership group of AC Milan, where he played for six years of his career.
