A US Secret Service agent has been sacked after his ex-girlfriend told how he took her to the Obama’s Hawaii home to have sex, likening it to joining the “mile-high club”.

The disgraced agent's former partner details the incident in her new book, revealing how, while tasked with protecting the former president, he knowingly and repeatedly breached his duties.

Koryeah Dwanyen wrote about their secret tryst in her memoir, ‘Undercover Heartbreak: a Memoir of Trust and Trauma,’ in which she describes a series of potential security lapses. Specifically, they included the time when she said she was invited to join the senior agent at the Obamas’ beachfront property in Hawaii in 2022 while the couple were away.

Dwanyen claims he had already sent her "several photos" of the house a week earlier, and suggested a tour. “No one will know. If anything, I'm the one who could get in trouble,” Dwanyen claims the agent told her.

At that point, she said he dared her to have sex with him in the former First Lady's bathroom. “We should have sex in Michelle [Obama]'s bathroom, like a mile-high club,” Dwanyen claims he said. The Secret Service has now confirmed that due to the incident and several other breaches, 'Dale' as he is known in the book, has been fired.

“On November 6, 2022, a Secret Service agent involved in protective functions brought an individual who did not have authorised access into a protectee's residence without permission,” Chief of Communications Anthony Guglielmi said. “As soon as the Secret Service became aware of the incident, the agent involved was immediately suspended and after a full investigation, terminated.”

Former President Obama has not commented on the incident, though sources close to him indicate he was “disappointed” to learn about the breach. It is not the first time the agency has faced scrutiny for misconduct, with previous scandals, including one in 2012 involving agents on a presidential visit to Colombia. The agency has since vowed to uphold high standards of conduct within its ranks.
