Enzo Maresca has just spoken to the media following Chelsea's 2-0 win against FC Heidenheim in the UEFA Conference League.

Second-half goals from first Christopher Nkunku and then Mykhailo Mudryk ensured the Blues' 100% record was maintained. Maresca has just reacted to the game and here is every word the Chelsea head coach had to say...

Tough challenge tonight...

"Yes, tough, very tough. This is exactly the way we expected the game, against this team away. Small pitch, it's always complicated but overall I think we did very well.

"We could have scored more goals but we also conceded some chances. Overall, I think we deserved to win the game and I'm very happy for the players."

Is it more beneficial to face tougher opposition?

"Yeah. It was a very good challenge for all the aspects. They were high pressing, they were intense, but no matter what the opposition do, it is important we are ready. It's important also to continue with that mentality; to try and win all the games."

Was the difference at both ends with Filip Jorgensen and Christopher Nkunku?

"Both did very well. They did fantastic. I think all of them. Jadon Sancho did a very good game. Axel [Disasi] and Benoit [Badiashile], Cesare [Casadei] did very well. It is important they are ready when they get the chance.

"Filip did a very good game, Christo the same. We have a game on Sunday and then on Wednesday. We have nine or 10 games in December, so it is more or less a game every two or three days. They are going to get chances so they need to be ready."

How important was it that Sancho performed like that after returning to the side?

"It is very important. I said since we started, Jadon is very important to us. He is very important. He has to be fit, mentally and physically; he is going to help us a lot. Unfortunately, we did not use him in the last few games but he is showing now how important he is to us.

"Especially against the teams that defend in the low block, we need that quality in the last third. Sometimes he will shoot more but I think he is going to help us a lot."

Mykhailo Mudryk continued his great form in this competition...

"Yeah, yeah. He is one of the ones I was talking about. I think it is difficult to find players that tonight did not play well. All of them did very good. This is what we need.

"We need all of them taking the chances when they get them. We have 24 or 25 players, good players who all deserve to play and are working fantastic. We are going to share minutes in the next games because we have so many games so it is the normal thing to do."

Did you enjoy your stay in Heidenheim next to the castle?

"Absolutely. It is a nice place. We arrived late last night so we didn't have the chance to see too many things. Next to the hotel, the castle was there and it was a nice day."
