Chelsea forward Jadon Sancho and Callum Hudson-Odoi reunited before the Blues' Premier League clash with Nottingham Forest.

Sancho and Hudson-Odoi were spotted on the pitch together as the Forest team arrived to observe their surroundings for the afternoon. The duo engaged in a conversation before parting ways to prepare for the Premier League encounter.

Forest's star winger was a product of the Chelsea academy and it was expected that he would be a star for the Blues for years to come. However, he would fall out of favour in West London and in September 2023 was sold to the East Midlands club.

Since moving to Forest, Hudson-Odoi has been working hard to rediscover his form and has featured in all of Nuno Espirito Santo's team's Premier League matches. He bagged his only goal prior to the trip to Chelsea in the surprise 1-0 victory over Liverpool at Anfield.

Hudson-Odoi were never teammates in domestic football with Sancho plying his trade at Borussia Dortmund and Manchester United while the former was at Chelsea. However, the pair were teammates at international level.

The duo first played together with England's U16s but they mainly featured in the same England U17s team which is where their friendship likely grew. On one occasion they did line-up together for the Three Lions' senior team.

In 2019, they were on the pitch together as England beat Czechia 5-0 in the Euro 2020 qualifier at Wembley Stadium. Both Sancho and Hudson-Odoi were named in the starting XIs for their respective clubs at Stamford Bridge.
