Sancho starts, Nkunku decision, Fernandez returns - Predicted Chelsea line-up vs West Ham United

Bobby Vincent predicts the Chelsea line-up to take on West Ham United at the London Stadium this afternoon with the Blues looking to make it three successive away wins in the Premier League

Enzo Maresca will have Enzo Fernandez and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall to choose from this weekend as Chelsea face West Ham United.

The midfield duo both missed last weekend's late win at Bournemouth due to illness but are now set to make the squad for the visit to the London Stadium this afternoon. However, Malo Gusto is still sidelined for the match with the right-back still recovering from a thigh injury he suffered earlier in the month.

Romeo Lavia, too, remains a doubt. While Maresca did not mention the Belgian midfielder in his pre-match press conference on Friday, the fact he has been doing some training drills away from the group this week suggests Lavia will not quite be ready for the Hammers clash.

With such attacking depth in the squad, Maresca once again faces some tough decisions regarding what XI he will put out this afternoon. Below, Bobby Vincent has predicted what the Italian will do at the London Stadium.

GK: Robert Sanchez

A masterful performance last weekend from Sanchez, who has faced plenty of criticism thus far this season. The Spaniard's confidence should be sky high now and he will almost certainly keep his place in the team.(Image: Catherine Ivill - AMA)

RB: Axel Disasi

Reece James and Gusto remain absent from the team so it looks like it could be another outing for Disasi. There is the option of Josh Acheampong but judging by what he has done this season, it looks likely that Maresca will continue with the more experienced head in Disasi instead.(Image: Ryan Hiscott)

CB: Wesley Fofana

It was by no means Fofana's best performance last time out at Bournemouth but the Frenchman is expected to keep his place in the side. Maresca looks pretty settled when it comes to his defence.(Image: David Horton - CameraSport)

CB: Levi Colwill

Colwill has been outstanding in the opening four games of the Premier League season. The England international has really stepped up since being used in a central role this term.(Image: Catherine Ivill - AMA)

LB: Marc Cucurella

Cucurella is expected to keep his spot in the Chelsea side yet again. The Spaniard has been an ever-present figure under Maresca in the Premier League.(Image: Catherine Ivill - AMA)

CM: Moises Caicedo

Caicedo is set to keep his spot in the centre of midfield. The Ecuadorian best be prepared for a physical battle this afternoon against a big West Ham midfield.(Image: Catherine Ivill - AMA)

CM: Enzo Fernandez

Fernandez could return to captain the side against West Ham. The Argentine missed last weekend's win at Bournemouth due to illness but has trained in recent days at Cobham.(Image: Catherine Ivill - AMA)

RW: Noni Madueke

Madueke has been excellent thus far this season but has now gone a couple of Premier League games without a goal. Having the mentality he does, the winger will be desperate to put that right against the Irons.(Image: Jacques Feeney/Offside)

CAM: Cole Palmer

Palmer has not quite been at his absolute, sensational best yet this season. He will get there. We all know he will. Will today be the day?(Image: Robin Jones - AFC Bournemouth)

LW: Jadon Sancho

Sancho made such an immediate impact after making his debut last weekend. The 24-year-old came on at half-time down at the Vitality Stadium and provided the match-winning assist for Christopher Nkunku. He could make his full debut at the expense of Pedro Neto this afternoon.(Image: Ryan Hiscott)

ST: Nicolas Jackson

Nkunku or Jackson? That's the big question. I think Maresca will go with Jackson once again. But as we witnessed against the Cherries, Nkunku is such a dangerous option from the bench.(Image: Jacques Feeney/Offside)
