Bobby Vincent shares his predicted Chelsea line-up for this evening's clash against FC Heidenheim as the Blues look to continue their perfect European record
Chelsea will be looking to maintain their 100% record in the UEFA Conference League this evening as compete in the small German town of Heidenheim.
The Blues take on the Bundesliga side FC Heidenheim in match day four of the Conference League. Both sides go into the match having won their first three games of the European competition but at least one of their 100% records has to stop tonight.
After beating Leicester City in the early kick-off on Saturday afternoon, Enzo Maresca, like he has done in every match so far in Europe, is expected to make wholesale changes to his XI. Below, Bobby Vincent takes a look at what sort of line-up we can expect from the Blues head coach...
GK: Filip Jorgensen
Jorgensen is Maresca's go-to goalkeeper in the cup competitions and that is expected to be the case tonight as well. Another good chance for the Dane.(Image: Andy Buchanan/AFP)
Disasi may well come in at right-back this evening. Malo Gusto has recently returned to training after missing the weekend's match through illness but he could be rested for Aston Villa, while Reece James remains sidelined.(Image: Vincent Mignott/DeFodi Images)
Tosin has been a staple in Maresca's European 'B team' and could come back into the team tonight. After scoring last time out against FC Noah, the former Fulham defender will be hoping to make a similar impact today.(Image: Vincent Mignott/DeFodi Images)
Badiashile was a surprise starter at the weekend against Leicester. Due to a few absences, Maresca shuffled his defensive line and Badiashile did an excellent job alongside Levi Colwill. He could get another go tonight.(Image: Malcolm Couzens)
It feels like a long while since we have seen Veiga play in a Blues shirt. The Portugal international could be given a run out in the south of Germany this evening.(Image: Grzegorz Wajda/SOPA Images/LightRocket)
Moises Caicedo, Enzo Fernandez and Romeo Lavia could all be rested against Heidenheim. It is a rare chance for Dewsbury-Hall to try and impress Maresca and force his way back into the head coach's plans.(Image: Catherine Ivill - AMA)
Another man who has barely been given a go this season. Casadei has been impressive when called upon in Europe and he will be hoping for some more minutes in Heidenheim.(Image: Crystal Pix/MB Media)
We are yet to see Sancho from the right in a Chelsea shirt. However, when asked by myself last month, Maresca explained how the winger could also play off the right. Perhaps tonight is the night we see it?(Image: Catherine Ivill- AMA)
Another surprise starter at the weekend. Felix, however, could be used in the middle this time around. The Portugal international has been in fine form in the Conference League for the Blues.(Image: Darren Walsh/Chelsea FC)
This has sort of turned into Mudryk's competition of late. The Ukrainian has been in wonderful form in recent European matches and will be hoping to make a similar impact against the German side tonight.(Image: Crystal Pix/MB Media)
Barely getting any minutes in the Premier League, Nkunku will be desperate to get back out on the pitch again tonight. The Frenchman has been linked with a move away in recent weeks and it is up to him to show the rumours over his future are not impact his performance.(Image: Vincent Mignott/DeFodi Images)
