US singer songwriter Lana Del Rey has announced she will perform at Anfield next summer - but it isn't the first time she's visited the home of The Reds. Earlier today, the Grammy-nominated superstar confirmed she will take to the stage for one night at Anfield stadium as part of her 2025 UK and Ireland summer tour.
Known for hits such as Born To Die, Summertime Sadness and Young And Beautiful, Lana, 39, is the latest artist to confirm she will perform at Liverpool FC's ground in 2025, with Dua Lipa, Bruce Springsteen and Billy Joel also set to perform next year. The multi-Platinum selling singer will take to the stage Saturday, June 28 2025.
But many will know Lana is a Liverpool FC supporter herself and this isn't her first visit to the stadium. Back in March 2013, the then 27-year-old came to Liverpool to watch Liverpool vs Tottenham Hotspur, revealing on a pre-match guided tour of the ground that it was her first time at Anfield.
At the time, Lana took her place in the stands wearing a Liverpool FC scarf and watched the game. Lana also took a photo with then captain Steven Gerrard, as well as posing next to the famous ‘This is Anfield’ poster.
The ECHO previously said how the American singer reportedly picked up souvenirs from the LFC shop and then headed straight to McDonald's on Great Charlotte Street for her dinner. She was later spotted at Lime Street station waiting for the London train and chatted and took photos with fans.
