The OnePlus Ace 5 will launch next month in China and is then expected to debut in global markets like India. However, the device will likely arrive in other regions as OenPlus 13R, just like the older versions. The OnePlus 12R was a rebranded version of the OnePlus Ace 3, so the newer iteration isn't expected to be any different from the Chinese version.

OnePlus has started teasing the OnePlus Ace 5 aka OnePlus 13R and some of the features of the upcoming device have leaked online, giving us an idea of what to expect from the next-generation mid-range premium smartphone.

If leaks are to be believed, the upcoming OnePlus Ace series phone will pack a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset under the hood. This isn't surprising because the OnePlus 12R is using the older Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip. Also, OnePlus is offering one-year-old flagship chipsets with its R series phone and keeping the latest one for the ultra-premium flagship phone.

The OnePlus Ace 5 is said to feature a 6,300mAh battery with support for 100W fast charging tech. OnePlus is one of the few brands that bundle a charger in the retail box, so the new phone will also likely have it. The device is also tipped to pack a 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPO display and a 50-megapixel triple rear camera setup.

Since it will come to India as the OnePlus 13R, the device isn't expected to receive a massive hike. The OnePlus 12R was announced with a starting price tag of Rs 39,999, so the next-generation is expected to be priced under Rs 45,000.

OnePlus China President Louis Lee has suggested on Chinese social media platform, Weibo, that the OnePlus Ace 5 will be available at a cheaper price but we might also see a bit of price hike because the cost of components and other things have increased. We will have to wait for a few weeks to see what could be the price of the next Ace phone, which will also give us an idea of what to expect from the OnePlus 13R.
